NextGenNews offers a variety of packages and plans to access our Usenet servers. Packages are broken into Premium accounts which will expire and/or be renewed at specific time intervals, or block accounts which is limited to a certain amount of pre-paid GBs. There are is also our Anonymous Packages with gives you temporary access to our Usenet servers, without the need to register for an account at all. Discount is provided for larger orders and our users are able to freely switch between Premium or Block accounts without being penalized.
NextGenNews' Block Subscriptions are volume based subscriptions that does not expire at all. Your download speeds will be completely unlimited and you will be able to only download a fixed amount of content equal to that of the Block Subscription you have purchased. When you have less than 1GB available on your Block Subscription, we will send you a notification, at which time you can either change or renew your subscription if you wish to do so.
NextGenNews count what has been requested towards Block Subscription usage. If your client software requests a HEADER, we will count the HEADER towards your Block Subscription. Equally, should your client request an ARTICLE, we will count both the HEADER as well as the BODY towards your Block Subscription.
Block Subscriptions are generally advised to customers that use NextGenNews occasionally, or as backup or fill accounts in order to obtain missing parts.
NextGenNews' Premium Subscriptions are time based subscriptions with either a 30, or 60 day renewal period. Your download speeds will be limited to the speed of the package you subscribed to, and would be able to download an unlimited amount of content. 7 days prior to your Premium Subscription expiring, we will send you a notification, at which time you can either change or renew your subscription if you wish to do so.
Premium Subscriptions are generally advised to customers that are heavy downloaders, or customers using NextGenNews as their primary Usenet provider.
Please note that speeds are indicated in Mbps (MegaBITS per second). Please ensure that you understand the difference between Mbps and MBps (Bits vs Bytes) prior to purchasing your Premium Subscription.
NextGenNews' anonymous packages are designed for quick, seamless, no fuss access to our Usenet servers. Simply purchase the subscription of your choice, and you will receive a random username and password that will give you access to our servers.
The anonymous packages are none refundable, and none rechargeable. Once the account has expired, it will cease to function, and should be disposed of. You will not receive access to the Customer Zone, VPN services, or any of the additional features that NextGenNews provides. We implemented these accounts for quick, effortless access to NextGenNews.
